Thanks guys! It rained hard all weekend and no leaks!! I wasted way to much time on those escape hatches. I thought it would be nice to keep them for a practical use of light and letting heat out. But it just caused me to much grieve on the water problem. BC I probably enjoyed throwing them off the roof way to much.

There it is!! Traded third members and they swapped my detroit locker into this one with 4:10's Got such a great deal on it I probably shouldn't even say.

I plan on getting it put back in tomorrow.

I also drained all the coolant and ran some CAT radiator flush through today. Flushed again with distilled water and filled it back up with some new coolant. New clutch will be soon.

Thanks Porkchop. Yours is coming along nicely too. It just takes alot of time as you know. You've spent alot of time on your drivetrain, which sucks the time and money out of the conversion. I'm just now starting to put some money into my drivetrain, but will be worth it. I really should stay away from the truck shop. A friend of a friend works there, and started putting way to many thoughts in my head today. He talked about 8.3 cummins turbo's on 466 and some other options on really making some power. I probably won't be able to sleep tonight.

I would love a detroit locker for mine, and an 8.3 to go with a different tranny

I probably could have gotten the 4:10 open rear end for nothing, if I would have been willing to give up my detroit for it. But being the kinda of guy I am, there is no way I could have without kicking my own a$$ later. They sure put some real HP thoughts in my head yesterday. But the plan for now is a new clutch, and then turning up the pump for now. I think that alone should give me what I'm looking for in power. Will see soon.

Got the third member in and done just before the rain came in again today.

Rigging it up to get my transmission jack under it.

I was hoping to take it out for a drive, but I think I will wait till maybe Sunday when weather suppose to be nicer. Guess I'll do some more work inside it tomorrow.

Cold and rainy today. Good time to work mostly in garage. Finally got to the front two window surrounds. One other thing I've haven't had the time to work on. Took some pictures in the process today.

Hopefully I can get to the back two tomorrow. After that, I plan on working on the valances to hide the roll down shades, and putting LED lighting in them as well.
