Thanks in advance!

It took one gallon to paint my roof twice. Your bus is a little bigger - but I would guess one gallon will cover it. I used a roller.

I plan on using a roller, too. Did you use the brand Bus Kote or a different brand?

A gallon of $25 white paint would be a good start and will do the whole roof. Daves bus only took 3 quarts.
Either way- lemme know if I can give you a hand. Or a toe!

Eastern Slope Camping Area - Conway, NH

North Beach Campground - Burlington, VT

Abel Mountain Campground - Braintree, VT

Wouldn't let us in:
Lake Champagne Campground - near Braintree, VT... we weren't "RVA" certified.... glad they didn't because the Abel Mountain Campground is full of really awesome folks!

Too bad I was more late than fashionable to this party!

I'm an hour & change from Conway, but you were far better off staying there, since my anchorage is kinda sucky,& the only bus parking slot lacks utilities and is ocupado!

Sounds like an awesome road trip, thanx for sharing.

Hiya Sandi,

Yeah, I do love NH. The problem is, it's too damned clean!

I'm an Environmental Scientist, specializing in hazardous remediation, and there's little to no paying work for me here!

I hate to leave, but if I don't, I'll soon be BBQ-ing my own limbs for food..!

Bought my bus to relocate to TX, to help with Harvey recovery efforts. Fortunately, I have some lifelong, very dear friends down there to hang with while reacquiring my gypsy bearings.

(The difference between regular bearings, and gypsy bearings is that the former is packed with petroleum-based, high viscosity grease, while the latter uses olive oil and a pile of paprika. But I digress...)

And while digressing, thought you might be interested to know that my avatar picture over there to the left was taken at Burlington, VT's Starr Farm Beach, a popular C/O sunning spot.

(Please note the image doesn't violate the site's TOS. The only textile-frees in it is a raft of seagulls at quite a remove from the shore!)

What an interesting career! I chuckled at the fact that NH is so clean.
We stayed at the city campground on the lake in Burlington. Gorgeous.
I hope all is well in TX!

I also wore goggles and a mask because that schoolbus yellow paint when being sanded is pretty darn nasty. I learned from the masters, sensei.

Heh, I snort lines of the magic yellow bus dust.

Properly sanding will give the paint a better surface and better adhesion.
When you see the paint flaking off a skoolie and can see the yellow underneath the flaking its usually because they didn't sand or prep.

Keep up the good work!

Funny you say that... I literally had it in my nose and ears! Wearing the mask eliminated the nose issue
