Campgrounds

So, up until last night, we hadn't had any issue getting into a campground.

Campgrounds we've stayed out with no problem:

Camp Pedro at South of the Border (wifi sucks, have to sit by laundry room)

Hadley's Point Campground - Bar Harbor, ME

Eastern Slope Camping Area - Conway, NH

North Beach Campground - Burlington, VT

Abel Mountain Campground - Braintree, VT

Wouldn't let us in:
Lake Champagne Campground - near Braintree, VT... we weren't "RVA" certified.... glad they didn't because the Abel Mountain Campground is full of really awesome folks!

Sandi

I think you meant RVIA - Recreational Vehicle Industry Association.

They are the good people responsible for implementing standards that ensure that RVs break into pieces when they hit a speed bump.

Be pleased you aren't "certified" by them.

As for that campground .... narrow miss, well done. It is filled with Prevosts running generators all day.

A narrow miss indeed! I could actually see myself camping for a month in the one we ended up in! Friendly people, lots of dogs, owner gave me a hug. RVIA can kiss my butt [emoji38]My bus is far superior to their stick and fiberglass million dollar campers.

yes!!! now that is some awesome color!!!..

a MAJOR front is marching across the country.. its going to take us here in ohio from highs in the 80s to highs in the 50s (then back up to 75 by friday)..it will nring rain then good cool but not freezing nights.. should really make the colors pop if you are heading west and south at all. we normally are peaking now but its later this year.. my red maple is still mostly green, opefully the front doesnt bring too much wind that blows the leaves down..

We're south of Albany right now. Heading south a couple hundred miles tomorrow. It's going to get COLD! Hoping for a little more pop of color as we wind back down to Florida.

the high temperature yesterday here in columbus was 81.. today it was Muggy and SHOT UP to 84!! I was out enjoing it walked 8.5 miles.. at about 2:30 the wind picked up to 50 or so.. at 4:30 it was still in the 80s.. and clouded up.. I put a new steering shaft on my redbyrd.. then went into Lowes for about 20 minutes.. came out and it had dropped down to 72.. an hour later I was at starbucks and it was 60.. that was about 6 or so.. its 9 pm now and 54... headed to a low of 42... make sure you open the heater valves on your bus!!..

Nearly done with my current trip. Spent the night on the SC/GA border, heading through Atlanta, drop off Alice in Live Oak then on to my mom's for a couple of nights. Thank you so much for making the start of my inaugural trip AWESOME!

Bus kote

Nearly home from WanderLust Bus's first adventure, from Florida to Maine and back... staying a couple of nights at my mom's house.

For my next project I want to Bus Kote the roof and then begin prep and painting. Does anyone know how many gallons of Bus Kote it takes to roll out a bus roof. Mine is an 11 window bus.

Thanks in advance!

Sandi
