From the left; the rear heater, the boy, the open rear door and my wife cleaning off
some surface rust.
That's not spooky, is it?

Re: the88

Will, Sorry it took so long for me to get back to ya, the Holidays were alittle busy and I really didn't work on the Akitabus at all. Now I am back at it.
I live just north of Seattle, Shoreline to be exact, you are welcome to come take a look whenever you can make it, Weekends work the best for me.
I sent you an email with my Cell # give me a call and we can go from there. I have a Thomas that I raised the roof on, so hopefully I can give you some insight
on what to avoid and you can check out what I have done, and perhaps give me some ideas as well.

talk soon

Looks like you're making some progress...

Just wanted to chime in from the Spanaway/Graham area...

Good luck with the roof raise...

Hey, Luey- thanks for the encouragement.
I've got to say your bus looks badass! In the best way possible.
The roof raise is going to happen on the next infusion of money. It's been a tough go during this depression, but we're still standing!

If you're thinking the boy was Yoda, you're not far off; he's a premie who fought for his life for three months and turned out to be a spiritual bright light. If we should come across each other on the road and get to play guitar together, he'll be the one sitting in on percussion...

Re: the88

Well, Sunday I get to see the Akitabus! Greg was kind enough to invite me out to look and pick his brain. It'll be good to have some nearby mentoring.
Can't wait!

Re: the88

Take some good notes...

His roof raise looks great...

Thanks for the comments on my bus... Yeah, the money thing sure doesn't seem to make things any easier... I've been dealing with the holidays and other projects, but should be making some decent progress here in the next few weeks...

Have fun this weekend...

The floor is clear, the rear heaters are out, and I just bought six windows for $164.25 shipped...
2each 24x22 black up and down windows 3each 35x18 black up and down windows 1 48x22 black crank window. The seller asked me to make him an offer, so I did! Bottomdollarsurplus on eBay for anyone who's interested.
