I'd still add a roof vent with fan. They're great, imo.
Could always do one roof unit and a window unit in the rear in one of the windows by the back door.

I've got three "fantastic" vents new in box waiting to go on my bus, just not to that stage just yet. Once the roof is raised next week, then they'll be going on shortly after!! Two are with reversible fans, one is just a static vent. Got the rain covers for all three.

They work great for rounding over the sharp edges of wood, plywood, and OSB too!

you're welcome...you won't be sorry because it works so well, it's less time your arms are stressed out over your head! With the wire wheel, I just couldn't get to shiny metal no matter how long I stood there grinding away. Always a shadow of rust...I'm sure I would have gotten there eventually but my arms were killing me. Be careful and don't stay in one spot for long. Home Depot sells Diablo and Avanti brand. Don't waste your time with Avanti brand. It's cheaper but in my opinion you get what you pay for. I didn't have any luck with that brand when taking the seats and rivets out. The blades are dull and cheap.

I have big plans, but it's been so cold out and i haven't had alot of time lately so it's been frustrating. I became overwhelmed when i thought about all that i have to get done and had to kick myself in the butt and remind myself that i only need to focus on today and the current task at hand. We've had nothing but cloudy days all winter long so that doesn't help either.
I'm also stuck right now because i need to find an electrician to sort out all the wires. There's no way I'll even attempt it. I really envy the men in here that can do that for themselves. I do have a friend at work who'll be helping with the plumbing though everything else I'll do myself.

I need to get an electrician out to take care of the wire that's in the roof. I'll try anything at least once but not electronics. Until I do, I'm stuck with that spot!

Before you spend the $$ on roof a/c units, go see how they operate in person.
The roof top dometic in our travel trailer runs LOUD. Way louder than a window unit.

Tobeamiss, Pull the cover off of your wireway and take a good look at the wire. I don't know if all bus makers did it, but Crown did on mine. The wire is labeled every foot of what goes where. Makes it easy tracing out. Get you a good digital meter and ring out each wire as you go. I helped my brother up in Washington State wire his entire house by cell phone and camera. He's a cop. So I am pretty sure if he could do it, You can too.

It's all starting to make sense. With me, if I take long enough to think about something and come back to it later I can usually make some sense of it. Reminding myself all along to keep it simple. With that being said, I realized that I need allot of those wires. So far I've disconnected all of the buzzers.
Also, the rust that I had on the one section of ceiling is actually from where the wire from the strobe light is. Apparently they didn't seal off the holes good enough after using the self tapping screws and running the wires through. Easy enough to fix.
Right now I'm at the stage of taking up the floors....joy. the screws are real deep and rusted. What a pain.

After taking off my strobe, it didn't appear they made any attempt to seal it, and looks like it took a few tries to finally get the strobe on there... crooked!
