Did you get separate readings front and rear?

I didn't go to a public scale. I went to go pay my material bill at the quarry and I thought I would kill two birds with one stone. So, I took my bus. When I pulled on the scale, the front axle was over 8k. The whole bus was 22,700 exactly with my fat ass in the bus. I had guessed about 18k. I was way off. That still gives me 11k payload. I figure I won't be adding more than 4-5k for the conversion, that is a pure guess. When I add a veg oil system, I wanted 2x100 gallon tanks. I won't come anywhere near my gvw of 34k.

So... 14k on the drive. That sounds about right. I was wondering about the front-to-rear
difference, since Millicent weighs 9.500 on the front and only 9.700 on the drive. (engine
up front) Thanks.

Pushers have a much shorter rear overhang, which is a good thing -- keeps you from
banging into things with the tail. It's probably safe to say that the only good reason
for a front engine in a flat nose bus, is to cut the rear open for a "garage".

Carry on!
