TotallySkooled Conversion update

Well, its been a long week of work. I got a lot accomplished and figured I'd make a thread to keep up with the progress hoping for weekly updates and the occasionally random. Will include pictures cause lord knows books without them suck. ;)
The first item of business was of course to get the seats out.... 4 hr's of solid grinding followed by 2 hours of breaking bulkhead side bolts loose... I had no idea the day would come when karma would bite me for all the candy and wrappers I shoved into the cracks but oh boy it came with a vengeance!
Second was the floor. I got lucky and my rubber floor is a solid piece (No plywood). I surveyed the entire floor both inside and under and found 0 rust!! I made the decision (I'm sure you guys are gonna give me hell for this) at that point for time and $$ to leave the factory rubber floor and place a 6 mil vapor barrier between it and the new vinyl snap in flooring. (It's 100% waterproof as well) spent half a day on the flooring and then started the knee wall.
I installed the top runner of the knee wall with 2x3 studs and 2 1/2" teks self tapping screws. While all this was going on my beautiful helper (the girlfriend) started scrubbing the windows and walls. Thank heavens cause I surely didn't want to do it...
Had to take a few days off for that 9-5 thing I'm required to do but picked back up yesterday. After a 5 hr shopping trip for the next week worth of supplies. I finished the vertical studs and began installing 3/4" polypro EPs insulation which brings me to today.
The insulation was finished this morning and I will start running the wiring for 10-13 (haven't decided yet) electrical outlets. All lighting inside the bus will be wireless battery operated LED's so no need to run 12-2 on the ceilings just inside the knee wall.
Then hopefully I'll be able to move on to framing walls and beds. I wish I was good enough with sketchup to post the layout but nope.. Lol
Hope you guys enjoy and I will happily take any advice you have under consideration.
Oh one last thing... Bought the tub as well

If, you are happy and comfortable leaving the flooring then so be it.
Dont take any of their crap to heart, it is your bus and you know what will work best for it and you. So, rock on.
It looks great, a huge amount of work and progress.
Very encouraging.
Smile and enjoy it, you've earned it.

It's been a couple weeks since I've updated my latest progress and since I can't sleep here it goes..
Finished running the wiring and insulating the lower portion of the walls with EPS, built the frame for the king bed, installed all the paneling on the walls, and started framing out the bunk beds.
Hopefully tomorrow I'll finish the bunks and the step/storage to the king bed. Then hopefully move on to framing the shower wall as well as starting on the plumbing (not looking forward to that).
My layout has become very fluid and things are getting moved around more than I expected. Having the vision of something and actually putting a tape measure to it are two different things. However it is coming along pretty nicely.
I'm going to do a good cleaning this weekend and hopefully get some detailed pictures of the carpentry.

I have a few ideas I'm going to try which I haven't seen done before and am looking forward to sharing those very soon. I can't find any good pics of the king bed frame at the moment but I'll take some tomorrow and update again.

Looking really good!!

I like what you did with the walls. Did you have to take the windows out to remove those panels and insulation?

Also framed the step for getting into the master bed as well as secured the heater so its no longer touching the floor.
At this point my need to do list is growing bigger and bigger but it'll get done. Designed the kitchen cabinet layout. Still haven't decided on the pooper which I all ready know is gonna be a pain.
Well thanks for looking gotta do that 9-5 thing the next few days but should make some more progress next week.

Thanks...
I didn't remove anything from the walls I placed my studs directly on top of the metal and liquid nailed all the insulation to the walls in between it.
