Nice bus, awesome specs. One question, DT466E or mechanical?

Seats are out.. bus is painted.. no new pics yet because my brother has been doing most of the work while I've been working. I'll give a full spread of pics this weekend.

Re: Slice Of Life -- OMG, what have I started

Labor day weekend was supposed to be all about tearing out the floors and installing the 2 roof top a/c units. Turns out the A/C units that were shipped to me were a scam deal and the back door was being held on by paint.. crafty school district.. crafty indeed. I am fighting with the seller from Ebay to get my money back for the air conditioners.. and spent the rest of the weekend installing new hinges and prepping the area for a rust patch on the back door. I'll add pictures as soon as I resize them .. this forum won't take pictures over 2mb and my phone takes pictures that are larger than that so I have to resize them before uploading.

I noticed the back door was not squared.. when I squared it up and installed the new hinges it resulted in the vandal lock being out of alignment .. so my brother fixed that and rewired it so it's no longer an alarmed door.

My brother is gone back to Texas now so I am feeling a tad overwhelmed at all the work that needs to be done...

1997 was the last year of mechanical injection but California had the DT466E starting in 1995.

Re: Slice Of Life -- OMG, what have I started

Worked all weekend on the bus while waiting on bondo delivery decided to work on the interior .. and that involved building a shelf so I could get stuff off the floor. The bus is parked a block away from my house and I didn't want to have to cart tools in and out to make room so I bought angle iron and some plywood and built a shelf to get stuff off the floor so I could start ripping up the floor. I ended up getting sick and have missed two days of work but can upload some progress pictures of the rusty door hinges and the fix and the shelf and the nasty floor I found under the vinyl. Actually I think the moldy floor might be what made me sick.

Just realized where I remembered your busses name from. "Slice of life", anyone watch Dexter? That's his boats name. OP, are you going to travel the country killing bad people?

All I know is.... I didn't do it!

Maybe one of us accidentally insulted a friend and they didn't like it.
