Hello! We started a conversion on a 1991 Blue Bird about a year ago.
So far we've stripped the floors down to rusty metal, sanded it down bare, sprayed it with Rustoleum and laid a subfloor.
Our plan is to start the conversion full time in about 3 weeks, so that we can get on the road in March on our way to Homer, Alaska. There we will live in our Skoolie till the fall.
Opinions requested on our subfloor. We got some info that makes us consider starting again...
1st layer: 1/2" plywood
2nd: 2" foam insulation inside 1x1 frame screwed into the 1st layer
