what black water tank?

So I got a free tank, its not square.
And im worried I might drill a hole and then learn that this tank is not correct.

I guess id like a plastic tank that fits under the ribs and frame of my bus?
Not hanging down? the one I have is not a sure lay fit, the one I have is long and flat about 10 inches tall. its plastic with metal and some black spray on liner.

yeah do you need one that is an exact fit? I see some guys have them just hanging down. I wanted to reuse one from a junk yard. but its going to hang low bolted to the frame.

Are they ever inside the bus like a boat tank?

Not really. Boats would hang them underneath if they could.

There isn't a tank made for an exact fit in a school bus. Use your imagination. Take some time and read this forum. There have been a number of posts about how they mounted tanks, with pictures. There's more than one way to skin a cat. Somewhere in my build post is pictures of both my fresh tanks, which are tucked up inside the frame rails, and my black/gray tanks which are in one of the basement compartments.
