Ads, popups or something

Until recently I never had this issue, but now visiting your site I am randomly redirected to malware sites. You may want to look into it.

not an expert, but test your browser with other webpages as well.
the malware might be in your computer.

Redirected browsers are typically caused by malware residing on the users computer.

Adaware & Spybot run multiple times simultaneously have always proven beneficial to customer's computers I've worked on.

It's been a while since I worked on any, so there's probably better software out there.

A simple way to tell is to load skoolie.net on different browsers
Chrome
Internet Explorer
Firefox
etc
And see how they behave.

It happens from my phone, and only on this site. It's not my phone.

I have run the site through various checks. I have been unable to replicate the problem or find signs of malware. It would seem extremely likely that your phone is compromised.

Please try downloading malwarebytes (free) and running a scan - it sounds like you may have some unwanted adware.

I used an android phone, Google Chrome, & Tapatalk app. No issues. I also scan my phone daily, multiple anti virus, cleaning apps.

I will agree.
I never had a problem until I registered here. Seems to be a glitch in the matrix here.

Next time it does it I'll screen shot it.

Thank you! It's only been recently, maybe a few weeks or a month, at first I didn't say anything but it's just annoying now being redirected to a site that vibrates my phone telling me I won some crap or have a Facebook message or something.

Android Users, run the following to verify you don't have Internet Herpes:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...qihoo.security
https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...es.antimalware

Both of those are known, respectable apps for detection. Please do a full scan and post the results.

PC Users having this issue:
Spybot S&D: https://www.safer-networking.org/
Malware Bytes: https://www.malwarebytes.com/

There is no sign of infection on this site. I have gone through all I can to verify this. I am sure the admins and others have as well. While you are certain you are malware free, it is a good idea to run the scans anyways.

Also be aware that another possibility is that you are using an internet connection that injects ads into your browsing. While this is a remote possibility, it is still a possibility.

Again, after running the scans, please share your results.

Running Linux+Firefox+NoScript. No problems here.

Running Android+Firefox+NoScript NSA. Again, no problems.

NoScript stops just about everything. I highly recommend it, but it is a REAL pain and not suitable for non-techies.

I was noticing this issue as well for a few weeks, also this site only on my phone. Seems unusual for adware to target this esoteric of a site. I did factory reset my phone (unrelated) and haven't noticed any problems for the past few days. Just trying to add another data point.

I do enjoy how silent it gets when folks find out they need to do something about a problem beyond simply complaining. Bonus points when they have already stirred up lots of folks into wasting their time investigating the complaints.

it *IS* possible some of the ad-links at the bottom are pushing pops to the client browsers.. they arent just standard IMG tags.. it looks like there is a scriptlet loader that pulls those google ad-links.. I didnt go into it very deep... but something like that is very possible..

Uhh...ok? I guess letting the site know they have adware or malware links is senseless complaining, my bad.

Where is that edgy facepalm emote...

actually not. senseless.. however if someone says check your PC.. then ruin the stuff on your local PC and if the errors still occur then start tracking down the origins.. ie.. pull a source.. run a web debugger and actually help them fix it.. just saying "oh my PC is clean" because ionbe virus scanner thinks so doenst mean there isnt malware on the affected browser...
