Is it a good deal?

Hi I am looking to buy a bus. I don’t have a ton of money to spend now as I’m in college and recently moved home but I’ve been looking at buses for a while because I’d love to do a conversion and travel for a bit. I found this bus that will definitely be a project I’ll work on for a while but it’s a Chevy 2000 short bus. It has a 5.71/ chevy 350. It’s not a diesel but the previous owner already started a conversion. The flooring and insulation is in there is ac and electrical Wired with four outlets already wired in and an outlet on the outside of the bus. Some bus building materials come with the bus. The engine is in great condition along with the bus. I’d of course go with my dad who was a mechanic to check it out first though. The bus is $3,500. I just want to know other people’s opinions on what I should do and their option on the non-diesel engine. Any other tips, tricks, or advice is appreciated too! Thanks!

I'd prefer a gas engine in a van.
My truck has a chevy 350. Not a vortec, just a tbi.
It won't win any races but its cheap and easy enough to fix.
