Post Meet and Greet The Site Team

This goes out to our wonderful site team so normal users please keep replies to a minimum to avoid clutter (that includes me )

I am fairly new to this thread and on some other forums I frequent The Forum Admins have a thread where they introduce themselves, kind of give a background of what they do, and any other relevant info and/or hobbies: site pet peeves, skoolies, etc.

If you feel comfortable introducing yourself on this thread please do!

I would assume many other users share this attitude

So, Site Team. The floor is yours

Sorry but I think the interwebs is the last place to put personal details. There is a reason I don't use facebook, twitter, instagram, etc. If you have a specific question, I think I would be happy to answer it. I was a member for many years before putting on the mod hat...before the ownership change.

I could be wrong, but I don't think cullengw is asking for personal details.

Something like this:

"I've been a member of the site team for 2 years.
I love to go fishing, and I collect antique fly fishing stuff.
The thing I hate most is when people mix up there, their, and they're. It makes me want to bang my head on my desk.
Here's a link to my build thread..."

Those aren't personal details, but they still give people an idea of who you are. Plus, they can open the door to discussions you might enjoy having with people who have those things in common with you.

Just my 2 cents

OK... I'll go.

I live in the Pacific NW and am about the newest person around here. I don't have a Skoolie BUT I do have a band (am a musician) and have in the past. I rehab vintage Airstreams for fun, love asian pears, dislike unhappy, whining people and and step on spiders.

My favorite smilie is this one:

Pet peeves include internet trolls, Facebook, drunk sound men and my next door neighbor.

How'd I do?

I'm gonna get myself a big glass of wine later, and read your thread in Captain Kirk's voice.

Good times
