My account and posts were deleted!?!

I'm toying with the idea of buying an articulated bus for my next conversion, and wanted to show a friend my build topic for the Bondo Condo.... but all of my posts have been zapped out of it!

The topic still exists, but my forum account and every single post I made seem to have vanished. I just recreated this forum account with the same name... is there a way to get my posts back?

(EDIT - This was originally a PM to Steve, but his PM inbox is maxed out)

Aww, so sorry DD.

I've been a member since 2011 and have had my account deleted twice now. The first time my posts were double posting and when I inquired as to whether they could fix it or not, my whole account was deleted. (I guess, that was the easiest fix for them).

The second time was as Bansil said. I got deleted because I have a Gmail account and evidently Admin thought because of my User Name I was one of the bad guys.

Just grin and bear and back up everything from now on.

I did back everything up with screen captures, just wanted to see if the admins could resurrect the actual text. Without further ado...

Good reading except that a couple pages are so blurry I can't read it. Very similar to my bus build except I have two of those futon bunk beds and my drive train is only 5.4L and SRW. I can sleep 6 people but its real tight and not much room for duffle bags and personal item.
Damn fine job looking forward to your next build...

Some images are only blurry because the forum shrinks them down... if you right click and then "view image" and zoom in, it will be clear.

Thanks for the compliments.

Thanks for reposting these. The good news is that deletions are a thing of the past. We have LOTS of storage space for attachments and accounts aren't deleted. If there are duplicate accounts we can now merge them so that all content is preserved as well.

This was one of the primary reasons for moving to this software platform - capturing and retaining info about rebuilds is a huge help to those just getting started and we want to continue to build a solid knowledge base.
