TIP: Better skoolie.net search

Sometimes when I go to use the search box at the top of the skoolie.net forum, I'm amazed to see that there are no results for something that seems like a well discussed topic. Let's take 'PEX' for instance. A quick search returns nothing, though we all know this tubing has been discussed to death. The alternative, which is miles better than the search at the top of the page, is to use Google.

- Go to Google http://www.google.com
- In the search box type (without the quotes) "site:skoolie.net" then your search terms.
Example: "site:skoolie.net pex crimper"
- Profit

Yowsers.. look at all the results!
Since Google takes into consideration misspelled words, typos and other errors you will be far more likely to find what you're looking for.

Downside being that there will be an unknown time gap between when posts are made and Google can index them.

Another option is to use Google Custom search:
Google Skoolie.net Search

^ I can't say how long this will stay active. It probably depends on how many people end up using it.
