1997 CROWN by Carpenter... windshield leak

Looked at a 97 Crown last night

It has a multi pc windshield,you can see where the school district used lots of windshield goop to "fix" leaks (rubbed upand down on all corner areas)

It doesn't leak but is ugly,is that windshield seal or seals availible?

It is just kinda ugly

Will test drive on friday...fingers crossed

best fix is just to r/r the windshield...prob just needs new gasket. hopefully the channel isnt eaten out with rust.. that can happen.

FYI, it's not a Crown! Crown was closed down by G.E. ("We Bring Good Things To Life") in 1991. It's probably a Carpenter - they bought some of Crown's tooling and designs, and continued to use Crown's name for a decade or more. So, what you may need is some Carpenter window seal or gasket. Because Carpenter went out of business, it may be difficult to track down what they used.

You are correct,I found that this morning researching bus parts...ugh..I mean I am at work ....

So the whole "crown by carpenter"...what a marketing disaster for Crowns name
