3D printing new rub rail end caps

We had a missing end cap on one of the rub rails, so I've been experimenting with a 3D printed replacement one. Here's the first run at it...



There is going to be some orange paint some day around there, so I figured I'd just print it in orange plastic. Also, why not customize it a bit while I'm at it? It's got the little Burning Man guy on it (homage to the bus's past), and "BB" for Betty Bus (the name of the bus).

A friend suggested I embed an LED inside of it, as it would glow nicely - might have to do that...

Free but only by virtue of being at a company that's got some resources like 3D printers available to employees.
