8 way lights

Where are the front and rear lights connected together, on a Blue Bird? I found where the power comes from and I can manually make them work but I cant figure how to split front from rears.

Re: 8 way lights

I found that mine were spliced together in the port wiring channel up over the windows, so one wire leaves the wiring nest at the switches, and runs up the channel behind the driver's window -and then- the lines come together.

Re: 8 way lights

There were a number of screws above the windows and at the 'base' of the ceiling panels that hold the covers for the wiring channel. If I recall correctly, the splices were mostly over the first port passenger window, though there might have been one for the front over the port driver's window.

All I had to do was remove the screws all around the panel that's covering the channel and sort of slide it down.

WARNING: Wear gloves when you try to pull these down. The top sort of has a friction 'clip' aspect to hold it to the ceiling panels and it seems to come loose all of a sudden. And if it's a big panel, it can get moving quickly, and those corners and edges can be damned sharp!
