A good deal/bus?

Hi there, wondering your opinion on if this is a good deal, based on the information given...

"2004 Chevy Express 3500 with only 62,000 miles on it. Gas engine--so no diesel smell. Drives perfectly and needs no work at all. Just had the oil changed and got new transmission fluid and rear differential fluid. (Last inspection: 2/19 through 2/20.) Minimal rust on bus chassis. Floor frame is new metal, layered with insulation, marine-grade plywood, aluminum plate, and topped with vinyl wood-textured flooring. Walls layered in aluminum, insulation, and tongue and groove maple. This thing is rock solid! All bus lights and electrical in perfect shape. Bluetooth equipped, and includes back-up camera. Fantastic serving window, includes screen.

Features a long maple countertop with live edge from the mill. Hot/cold plumbing all done for sink and shower. Faucet plumbed to connect directly to hose/shore water, or to a 46 gallon fresh water tank for when you're on the move. Drains empty to a gray water tank mounted under the bus. Also mounted under the bus: two 5 lb detachable propane tanks.

Optional: full 2-person futon/bed.

Happy to answer any questions. $10,900 or best offer."

Its overpriced. And the color.
Otherwise its decent. I wonder if its the 6,0 or the 4.8.

Def overpriced. I wondered about using a ball valve on dump tanks rather than the standard sliding valve you see on RVs.
For that priced I'd atleast want to see a toilet and shower....
Personally I loves that diesel smell.....
Welcome to the forum and fun, happy bus hinting.

Thanks very much. I'd like to do our build myself, but having a few steps done appeals. It actually does have a shower and toilet - I failed to include those pictures. I wonder how much you would offer?

I don't think the price is too bad. Maybe offer $8000 and see? If it has a 6.0L gas engine it's a good buy.

Everyone will have their own idea of something's worth obviously.
I'd rather buy one from the school, so its hard to say. $5000 or so if its rust free and mechanically sound?
I don't like the way that tank looks in the pic. Seems like it would be easy to break.

Low ball the seller for 5500 and see if they will counter or even accept.

I wouldn’t. There’s not enough quality in it to make it worth it. What are you getting? Suspect craftsmanship and a terrible paint job that needs to be redone. I can tell by that grey tank install that there’s little consideration or knowledge of building practices. The same bus fresh off the yard is $5K.

Personally I wouldn't go for someone else's conversion and especially not something built on a GM platform, I'm hard core bias against them, and second I don't like gassers in larger vehicles. I also refine my own fuel from waste oils so if it's not diesel then it's not for me.
But it's the OP that was interested in it, not me. Def some ugly paint, and the thing would be far too small for my needs.

Thanks, all, reading this site heavily the past day I’ve already realized this wasn’t worth anyone’s time and certainly not at that price.
It was sold, anyway. Wonder for how much.
