AC/Htr and generator

I bought a handy bus with the intention of converting it for a small business - nothing elaborate, but fun; anyway, I wanted to put AC/heater in it and run these off a generator. I think this is pretty simple - to put the unit where the vent is on the roof, but the generator - well I want a quiet one! First, who should I go to for the AC/Heater unit and installation, and Second, what kind of generator should I get (to run the AC/Htr and maybe some music)? Third, is it possible for the generator to run quieter if I have it piped through the muffler or are there quieter generators out there? I guess someone who does conversions would know...where do I find one in metro Atlanta, or somewhere close to Atlanta? My goal is quiet, since I'll be in neighborhoods with my bus and don't want to be too loud where neighbors would complain.

sounds like you want a honda EU series genny.

I believe the biggest generator in the ultra quiet, fuel effiecient EU series is 3000 watt 220 volt.

These generators are super quiet. I don't own one yet, but i've seen plenty of them in use.

just do a simple search in google for honda eu and you'll find all the info you need.

I picked up a little Honda EU2000i generator and I love it…it’s really amazingly quiet.
Doubt it would run an air-conditioner though.

Here’s a pic of our little generator …its just a bit smaller in size to the EU3000
