Re: Acting as if

I'm hoping to be riding soon. It seems that the weather is only nice on days when I'm in school. Boo. It's too bad that the sports I coach are Fall and Spring sports...I should quit coaching track and cross country and coach basketball...that way I can ride longer in the fall and sooner in the spring! Oh well...

I'm hoping to get a hitch on the Silver Snail with in the next month. We have spring break (two weeks after the rest of the world) the last week of March. I was hoping to go somewhere and camp and ride, but I don't think finances are going to cooperate. I'm sure I'll have something together by the end of April. My horses are getting tired of standing in the lot waiting for attention and food. They need a job!

Re: Acting as if. Update

Well I'm glad to report the experiment was a complete success!

The peatmoss and baking soda do a great job of covering things and not allowing odors.

I put a big cupfull of peatmoss in first, then after I started using the toilet I would use a small cup of peatmoss and a small cup of baking soda to cover. A couple of times, when it was just pee, I only used the peatmoss.

I did lay the lid on the bucket, then just put the toilet seat cover back down.

My closet doesn't smell, which is amazing considering it is only 2' x 3', with no vents. That is good news because that was the size I had designed for my bus bathroom.

So,there you go people. Peatmoss and baking soda all the way

Another exciting adventure in the life of Jackie

Re: Acting as if

Check your local drug stores for cheap electronics. They normally carry cheap cameras, cd players, mp3 players, and sometimes even cassette tape players.

But walgreens has a cheap digital camera for 20 bucks, but they have a low-end Vivitar for 50, and that should last you years longer than the $20 camera.
