Adding a second floor to a bus - good idea?

Please do. I've been tossing around a bunch of ideas for that.

The closest I've come to something I'd be happy with is to just make up four lightweight side frames with 1" angle-iron and attach them to the deck frame with weld-on hinge pins. Basically what you'd see on a landscaping trailer. I've also thought about post-in-hole options but I think I'd personally prefer something that folds. When folded down, some holes in the angle-iron would make great tie-downs to use that as a luggage rack.
