We used the empty space in the bulkhead (above the windshield and above the emergency door) as the plenum for the intake air to cool the compressor. We removed the flasher light and covered them with vents for the intake. We have one A/C unit (6K BTU) in the front and one of same size in the back. We have the cover finished but I have not added it to the photobucket yet.

Awesome Lorna, thanks for the pics. Perfect idea using the front and rear flasher holes for vents and the dead space between the walls as the plenum run. Liberal use of 100mph tape and sealant prevents any air leaks. I like it! I have committed the design to my steel trap memory! Problem is it's rusted open and doesn't hold as well as it used to
