Thanks - I check the filter gauge, but never wouldn't have thought to take the think apart and look at it.
I don't really need anything else on my 'to-do' list, but I'd rather find 'check air filter
' on the list than 'replace engine
I'll be getting a brand-new filter, instead of one that could have sat on a shelf for ten years or more,
Reading your post I got a visual on the filter factory scene - "Hey Bill - hold off on making that new filter - we got lucky, look what I found on the shelf (blowing dust off box) ..."
