Either before you buy or after. I knew mt 98 B700 had a est in the heater. What a mess!! Open that up a see a mouse mess with definitely drop the value if you are pre inspected before purchase.OR you might not want that bus.

Yesterday i opened up the panel for all my switches on the left. Easy to open due to two chrome screws. Amazed and shocked at all the mouse chewed paper in it. A definite fire hazard for sure.I didn't find even one chewed wire. I itch just thinking about cleaning that out.

My first bus had such a problem, the sign at the door said "Have a MICE day".

Found a small nest under the rear heater. It couldn't have been there too long. Went over the rest of the closed spaces and nothing else.

The best way I've found is to burn a citronella candle inside the bus overnight with all the windows closed up tight. I can't breathe that stuff and neither can the mice apparently.

I get one family of mice out of the dashboard and another family of mice move in. I still can't figure out how they get in the dash. Everything is covered with 1/4" mesh. Every time I go for a drive the mice get excited and stink really strong. I've found that sun beating down on the dashboard tends to make them move out. I took the dashboard apart and still couldn't find their nest, but I can still smell them.
Why does this suddenly remind me of porky pig hunting for a wabbit?

I've tried hotsauce, mousetraps, poison, mothballs, incense. All temporary fixes.
