Any truckers/ex-truckers here? (Class 7/8 airbrake commerci)

Just curious which if any users here are truckers or used to be truckers, which i'm defining as anyone who drove at least a Class 7 truck with air brakes commercially, whether straight/box truck or tractor/trailer combination. I might want to pick some brains but don't know if it's appropriate to ask the questions in a bunch of threads here.

I have a ClassA commercial license, had it for 10 yrs now. Air brakes & all, but ours aren't the 80k pound big rigs you may be looking for. I need it for trailer weight(over 10k pounds) and length(up to a 55 ft pole), since I work for a public utility.

Hmmm.... 18-wheelers on-and-off since 1982. What do you need to know? I could try to find somebody to tell you.
