Best design program

Hi all,

My boyfriend and I are about 40% through with our conversion. He's been a carpenter/remodeler for over 20 years, and he is great at visualizing how things will look and how to utilize our space. I, on the other hand, am much better at seeing things prior to completion with the use of design programs.
So I was wondering what beginners 3D design program do you guys recommend for planning out the layout of the bus?
