My bus was used to haul prisoners around the state (Department of Corrections; I have a tour video here:
), and it has two VERY BIG air conditioners in the middle of the cabin. The windows were all sealed so there was very little air flow. In addition to the AC units, it has 4 heaters spaced throughout the cabin. Both AC and heaters are piped with freon/coolant respectively. I've read the forums and see that most people remove their heaters and loop the hoses.
My question is: Anyone think I should save these heaters and/or AC units, and build them into the new furniture/cabinetry? I've seen y'all talk about the importance of defrosting in winter, but what about cooling while on the road in summer?
I'm torn about killing or saving these units. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
