I just went to Lowes to pick up my 1/2" black iron pipe and fittings. I'm kinda wondering now if I should have gotten 3/4". I'm going to be running a 10 gallon water heater, 35,000 BTU furnace and stove. All the appliances are 3/8"fittings. So would 1/2" be ok?
I just don't see the point in running bigger pipe because the outlet on the regulator is 3/8" so wouldn't that defeat the whole purpose even with a 3/8 to 1/2 adaptor?
Also, what are you running from the tanks to the black pipe? Rubber? Copper?
Hoping to get some black pipe installed today.
