you can just fill the radiator tank with water, run it for a bit, and refill it a couple of times... thats what i did. also check antifreeze temp when you are done...

did you just block off each line at the "t"? thats what i did.. on modern cars, there is a bleeder valve - often in the thermostat housing because of the crossflow radiator and adding coolent only can be done to the coolent tank. maybe you have one.

Thats interesting. What you could do too is park with the engine up hill of the rest of the bus. The more drastic the hill, the better. Refill your coolant and all the air will head up hill.

just dont do like i did after i removed the second heater and found only one plug - instead of the 2 required. forgot about it... started bus, then wondered why there was water dripping out on the backside of the rear wheel arch.
for some reason it took quite a bit of water after i discovered the problem.

however, i did find out, that the radiator was only 1/3 empty, which tells me that the heater hose system being higher than the engine means that water is still in the engine block and that its water pump must be circulating water. thats my observation.
