Bus and Narrow Boat conversions - a lot in common!

I've been looking into odd-space cabinetry and interior work, and found this whole genre of "narrow boats" that incredibly matches with bus conversions. I've only found one reference to it here on the forums so thought it worth a post.

Check out this site and especially the photo gallery - does that make you think of a bus conversion or what!?

CUT ABOVE NARROWBOATS - outstanding, unique bespoke fit-out of narrowboats

I've seen several shows on narrow boat living (aka canal boats) in various European countries. Always thought it would be cool to live on one. Too bad there are not as many rivers in the U.S. where you could do the same thing. I guess if you considered the Intercoastal Waterway on the East Coast, Great Lakes, Mississippi River, and various lakes then it has potential but in general I think Europe has many more rivers and canals that have been used for travel for centuries.
