Bus Kote

To those of you who have used Bus Kote, what kind of coverage did you get? I'm planning on using Bus Kote and Clear flex.

Thanks.

I read your post three times before I found that 4 gallon thing. Your roof sure looks different than mine. Mine is a complete hump without the center lowered channel. You used 1/2 gal primer and 4 gallons of Bus Kote. How much clear did it take? Did you consider just buying the ceramic balls and mixing it to your own paint to save shipping costs? To get it shipped to me from FL is $100. I have a rack that takes up almost a third of the roof area. That area has what I can only describe as corrugated metal with the ridges having flat tops. It is unpainted, but not rusty, so it must have some kind of coating. I probably won't use it a lot, but I will use it. Do you think I could coat the entire area, or maybe just the valleys to any advantage?

Thanks,
Dick

Those were kind of my thoughts, just nice to hear it from someone else. I don't have much hope of talking mumsywumsy into full time, but maybe a couple of months in the winter headed south.
I do however sit out in a field in the sun in the summer, with just the windows open.

Re: Bus Kote

Hello,

I have been trying to place an order with www.hytechceramics.com/ for Bus Kote, the Bond-it, and FlexiClear, but the website will not take orders. Does anyone know if they are still in business or are simply having problems? I will call them tomorrow again by phone.
