Oh, derp... same here. I guess I forgot we switched from a full on meth epidemic to an opioid epidemic.

Took the seats to a scrap metal place and got 45 bucks and change

When i called, the lady on the phone said i would have to separate the metal from the upholstery.. which i did. When i got there i had to unload myself. I asked one guy if I could toss in the foam and leather and he said yea... dont think he knew what i was referring to because i said "the part you sit on" so that was a little extra weight lol

Has anyone ever heard of havind to give a fingerprint and take a photo plus signature just to get paid?? Felt like i was in jail smh

Oh, and i had to rent a uhaul totaling to 53+ bucks not including gas which was another 15 so....

$45 -$53 -$15= $23

I returned a roll of masking tape to Home Depot- was for masonry? She asked for Id, no biggie, but she scanned the barcode and captured *all* my info before I could object.

I ripped her a new #$%hole. "not my policy" don't mean crap to me. You TELL people you are now putting all their info in a non-secure database. I expect a year free credit monitoring when they get hacked next month.

Went home and wiped that barcode with acetone.

Yea only because of the uhaul. Would have cost more to have one of those juk hauling companies come pick it up. A few companies gave an estimate of around $350... and that was the lowest cost!

Also i was looking to pay i guess around $50 or more to drop the upholstered parts off at a recycling center but got lucky at the scrap yard so can't really complain.

I could see fingerprinting for selling spools of copper. Or the guy selling guardrails. Or the dude with the 5 tore-out a/c condensers.

$50 worth of seats? I'd tell him..... well, you can guess what I'd say.

I guess we will be seeing those illegal dumps again and that crying Indian.

Do they not have roadside waste pickup where you live?
