Buses in GA, Thoughts?

Still looking for a bus, and while my dream is a 84 pass RE 8.3L Cummins, these ones are pretty close with the CAT 3126 being a pretty stout engine. Mechanic on the phone said very little rust, and that they have the md3060 transmissions. What do you guys think? Value/worth around $1500-2500?

Looks like there might be a deal to be had there, still 6 days to go to see where the pricing goes. I'd steer clear off the last one with all the issues.

Looks like some solid buses to build off of for the right price.

Keep in mind that Brunswick is basically an island in the ocean, so salt air can be an issue just like on Fla.buses. I would check them out before bidding. When the listing reveals "floor damage", I can only imagine big holes in the floor boards.

I'm REALLY happy with my Cat 3126. But its practically new with 64k original miles and 3300 hours. They're strong, powerful engines. Fairly quiet compared to my IC's. All I hear is the turbo, mostly. I'm cursed for now with the 545.
If they've got 3060's they're higher rated than my 190 hp version.
If they're clean and have the features you want I'd say get the one with the least amount of use on it as cheap as you can and have fun.

I'm east of Atlanta and sold our 1999 Thomas RE 84 pass with 3126/3060 for 6600.00. 128k or so, rust free. I think the bus was well worth that, and so did the buyer...obviously. I took the risk out of the auction by owning and essentially knowing it inside out but...if you get one of those for 2k, that's a crazy deal.

There doesn't seem to be a contact number or "ask a question" option. I see rust issues on a couple of them. I would definitely try and get some questions answered before bidding. Some are getting up there in price , but some are still cheap. Wanna know what drive train is in them.

Must be higher HP if ordered with a 3060, most have dreaded 545. Rust would be a deal breaker. Rust is like cockroaches, see a couple there are plenty hiding everywhere.
