Gonna be I Columbus Sunday and would love to meet up. Maybe get my cruise control on and go faster than 65 mph. Is there a private message on this site? Seems like there should be.

It won't go over 67 even down hill. It makes a noise like the u joints are going out (sort of) when out maxs out. And the cruise control doesn't work. I had someone mess with it before, but i don't think he knew what he was doing

what RPM are you hitting at 65? I had a center carrier bearing rubber retainer all rotted out on mine that caused it to make nasty sounds at higher speeds.. the driveshafts were vibrating in that rubber retainer..

we can cewrtainly look at your cruise and see if any codes are being set too. the cruise will be disabled if any fault is detected in either of the 2 brake light switches.. i had an issue on my red bus where in heavy rains my cruise would quit.. turns out i had water dripping onto the brake pedal switches and caused one of them to fault..

however its quick and easy to hook up the computer and take a look.

It only makes the noise when i am going down hill faster than the diesel can push the bus. It won't go faster than 67 no matter what

sounds like what mine did.. if you are up at 2650 RPM or so then you are maxxing the engine RPM.
