Ceiling Insulation

Hi Guys first post be gentle..
I'm wanting to insulate the ceiling what type of adhesive would work for gluing sheet insulation to the ceiling?? Looks like 1/2 will work to form to the ceiling.

I'm following your conversion Great job.
I'm going to install luan over the insullation.. I've got the windows out right now and the inside gutted getting ready to start sanding the outside..
