Cleaning under bus

Anyone find it necessary to clean underneath the bus? When I was removing my seats, the method I used called for me having to go under the bus and while under there I noticed what seemed to be oil and dirt/dust buildup. How would one go about doing an underbody wash?

A steam cleaner if you have, or can rent one. Otherwise, a good soaking in degreaser and a power-washer.

Don't power-wash bearing locations.

It's a dirty job, but someone has to do it

Home depot has a 4000 psi and 3000 psi. You think 3000 is too much under there?

The psi is fine, you shouldn't be spraying that close to any items anyways. Avoid spraying things like u-joints, bearings, brake seals, axle/engine/trans vents, or any electronics, and you'll be fine.

We spray off the underside once a year before annual inspection at the shop. We use a Landa commercial pressure washer that has a boiler on it. Truthfully, I think the hot water does more to remove grease, grime and dirt then the actually high pressure water.

Thanks for the fast response. I'm at home depot in the parking lot looking at YT videos to make sure it's being done so I could feel less nervous lol. I saw a guy using a 4 nozzle attachment im going to see if they have here. Ever use or would you recommend it? Gonna spray some Krud Kutter under there. Are pressure washers designed or able to have solution added to them like a mild soap or anything?
