clear lens covers

looking for clear lens covers for the 8 upper lites on my 89 thomas
wiring them to be spot lites, want to clear covers on them. Am in process of wiring them now,and want to get covers and new screws

Hmmm... Those seem to be hard to come by. What you are looking for is the 1020 series lense. I believe that is the "Weldon" part number. (most common). You can use a back up light lense if you want if the screw holes line up. But those are not designed to project the sealed beam light. Those are designed for an 1156 bulb.

I did find a website that appears to show a "clear" lense in the 1020 series. I would call to confirm. Just ask if they carry clear lenses in the 1020 series.

Correction.. It appears the "KD" line carries a clear lense. "KD" part# 3213-031

My Crown bus came with two large boxes of various unused lens covers. Not sure if they will work for your Thomas. PM me if you're interested.

I got a clear lense from a wrecked ambulance in a salvage yard and it had 8 in the ceiling and more outside. Call around and see if you can find some. Sportyrick

I found 3 lense covers in an ambulance today, the 4th was missing, I also found out where to get them new. Goggle ambulance parts, you will find them in those websites...
they cost $15 new, I paid $2 each for the 3......
