Corroseal Problem?

Applied corroseal a few hours ago. I went think, but not too thick. I didn't expect this color on the rusted bits... did I do something wrong?

These spots were previously all black, and now turning this orange color. Like the rust is peaking thru

The only thing I can think of if contamination, did you clean the surface before applying corroseal ?

Yes, I used some simple green... rinsed it out and pressure washed. Surface was completely dry before applying corroseal

I'd clean off those areas to bare metal and reapply.
