Can anyone share how you re-insulated and sealed properly the engine cover on a diesel puller (engine in the front flat nose)?
Thank you

I removed the cover and the existing shell of insulating material. I put down a layer of peal and seal (poor man's Dynamat), making sure it was well stuck. then put the original shell back in.
I then reinstalled the cover and adjusted it so it pulls down nice and tight. Made quite a difference in sound level, we can converse at highway speed much easier now.
