Has anyone looked at the crowns about to sale on gov deals? Located in San Jose I believe.

Two of those buses were listed last year IIRC. It appears that all three have been cannabalized for spare parts (missing windshields, seats, etc). There's no way to tell if you're buying a mostly complete bus or one that is little more than a rolling shell.

The problem with buying non-running buses is the cost of transporting them. Landoll trailers or wreckers are very expensive but ultimately it's the only real way to get these vehicles out of the seller's location.
