Diesel fuel prices

Diesel prices
After purchase or remodel the largest expense for all RV and skoolies is...FUEL...I carry 80 gallons so going to the pump is very expensive!

But I found a great way to save HARD CASH at the pump!..I applied (no credit check) and got all sorted in a week and now saving between 25 to 99 cents PER Gallon!!!
I wanted to share this BECAUSE The more sign up the cheaper it gets!

If you run diesel on your Skoolie, RV, truck, generator or other vehicle this is the program for you!

check out my screen shots of with and without program prices!!!

Make sure and put in code RVFC1004 under referral

If you have any questions feel free to ask.Just started but stoked due to saving over $18 in just the first 20 gallons!

I saw that but I got worried because they demand direct access to your personal checking and/or saving accounts. You have no fraud protection. If you lose the card and don't realize it, you will be liable for whatever fuel the crooks use that card for.
Their website does not describe any kind of two factor authorization or give any hint about how to prevent fraudulent use.
It sounds good but I need to know more about the fraud protections. I'm sure the corp has themselves well protected, read the 4 page contract, but what protection do we have.

Plus with the direct access, you can not tell the bank to stop give them your money. There is no way to prevent them from taking your money, you have to ask the corp to stop and they get to decide if and when they want to stop. The current management team might be honest, but how about the next team that buys the corp. What will they do?

I know that this fear is mostly driven by the current moral vacuum in DC but I'm worried and need to understand what security I have in these situations.

Off topic but LOL at such a polite way of stating this.

I am curious but skeptical.

Diesel just went to $3.89 a gallon here.

I would love to hear from others that have had experience with this.

Depends on where you purchase. Here's a chart showing lowest and highest diesel prices in Seattle. Low of $3.15 at Safeway, to $3.99 at Chevron. Quite a few places less than $3.50.

Seattle Gas Prices - Find Cheap Diesel Prices in Washington

Where I fuel up at Kroger grocery store it is currently $2.86

Yeah.... Driving almost 300 miles to fuel is not very practical. Almost all of the time an independent station in Cle Elum has the the cheapest fuel in the state.

I stop there every time I pass whether i need fuel or not. I want to support that guy

Locally we only have two stations that sell diesel. Both are $3.899 a gallon.

Ya, when you live in the boonies, they have you by the short ones.

Yup....

What gets me is that the little independent guy in Cle Elum is able to sell diesel for 10 to 50 cents a gallon cheaper than the stations along I-5 and still make a reasonable profit.

That tells me that I need to take a little Vaseline with me when I buy fuel anywhere else...

Edit: BTW: Cle Elum is in the boonies. Just not as deep as Dayton

While the boonies may pay more for fuel due to quantity ordered, but the markup is more also I bet. They can because you have no choice. I would be very surprised if wholesale pricing of diesel differs by a $1.25 depending on quantity purchased.

I totally get that but it not only has the card but you also have your own code and without it it will not work at all..like a pin for your ATM card except this is even better because it can only e used at the pumps not like a Visa.
Here is a link to their facegroup page...has tons of info from people like us that use their card to save https://www.facebook.com/groups/2441...=group_comment

When I first got the "fuel buddy" app I was ecstatic. We mad a trip down to Mexico and fuel buddy saved us a ton. One fuel stop in California we got off of I-5 to fuel and the station at the exit was $4.49 a gallon. Fuel buddy directed us to a station two blocks away that was $3,39 a gallon. Talk about price gouging.....

I use the gas buddy APP to find the cheapest diesel everywhere I go and this beat the best they had by over 45 cents per gallon.
It's really cool their app because it hows you the actual price you will pay rather then the Loves stated price ..that's why I posted on the other site the Loves and the fuel card app receipt...you can see it here on my FB page

And I bet there isn't a pump within 100 miles of you that would accept the card

No. My Visa card works most anywhere.

If you have difficulty finding places that take yours I would suggest changing card provider.

Ya, but your Visa doesn't discount the price.

No worries. When buying fuel at the cheapest place in the state I am not concerned about a discount.
