Driver's Seat Belt

'98 Thomas. How is the bracket attached to the ceiling? It appears to be riveted. Best way to remove?

I'm replacing the ceiling with cedar plank and will need to remove and reattach it.

Yup, those are rivets. There's got to be a rib right there.

Standard rivet procedure. Put a punch in the center to push the mandrel back through the rivet. Remove the remaining ring with a chisel and hammer. There's lots of videos of rivet removal on youtube. Those are likely steel rivets so a air chisel is nice if you have it.
