dt466 odometer cable

I believe that my odometer cable has come adrift from my 1995 dt466. I think its a red cable. Where should I look for it? I looked under the hood and got a bit lost.

If it is a mechanical drive the cable will hook up at the tail shaft of the transmission.

If it is an electronic gauge the pickup lead could be coming off the driveshaft, one of the front wheels, of off of the transmission.

Because of the vintage of your bus it could be any one of those options.

Good luck!

Thanks. Is there any downloadable manual I can look at for the DT466 and Alinson transmission?
