Re: electrical wiring

I ran my wiring for my lights up in the ceiling panel above the windows and made a kick panel down below for other wiring and plumbing by screwing a 2x2 into the top of the seat rail and at the floor level under it. A piece of 1/4 plywood covers it up making an excellent space to run things through.

Re: electrical wiring

i've run a lot of wireing in my buses by zip tying it to the chair rail. The rail is usually covered by seating, cabinets, or the jacuzzi so i never made an enclosed chanel. I have also ran wires above the windows. There is a factory built channel up there that has a bundle of wires in it already from the factory. I have tried fishing wires through the channel, but have found that taking 10 minutes to remove the channel with a cordless dewalt drill is well worth your time.

Re: electrical wiring

Since I chopped the bus into pieces I had removed all the factory wiring and am planning on rerouting it all down the centre of the ceiling where the new starboard and port roof liners will meet. Kinda like a spinal cord. But I have yet to actually do the work sooooo, we will see what it looks like when I get it done.
