Electricial question

trying to clean up under the side dash, the one with all the switches for flashers, wipers and such
have disconnected the STOP arm and removed it, have a couple of questions. What is the solenoid in there for, and is that some kind of a motor for the stop arm in there too?
I am removing the heater fans, and heater in there also.thanks for the help.

Re: Electricial question

On my Bluebird bus there is a solenoid that powers the circuit breakers and switches. The igniton key operates the solenoid.
My bus had an elctrically operated air valve to extend the arm, which was pneumatic.

not really, have a little 12v heater fan if I do
used it in my diesel truck sometimes since it takes so long to warm up
