Entrance door relocation

I have seen several pictures of buses with RV entry doors, I am thinking about removing my entry door cutting out the steps, reworking the floor, installing the factory cross members skinning the opening, and then relocating the entry 4’ reward. I know it is a major undertaking, but it could be done. Has anyone ever done this or seen one?

I’ve seen a few threads where people have done it - it is a ton of work but can look good.

However, building a skoolie is often already hundreds of hours of work and many (maybe most) are so overwhelmed that they don’t finish. Is the juice worth the squeeze to move the door?

Post numbers should be used and not page numbers. Some have theirs set up to read newest first or oldest first, this changes the paging the post is on.
