Finding, buying, and where to work on a bus?

Okay this is going ot be a LOT of questions, but let's sum it up as briefly as I can...

How do folks go about finding out about the different makes and models of busses. Specifically the dimensions? I am a planner by nature and kind of want to know what to look for. I would like a bus I can walk through without crouching, or doing a roof raise. I am 6' 0".

Where do folks buy busses from?

For those of us living in deed restricted HOA neighborhoods, where can we find to store / build the bus?

My wife and I are musicians / videographers, and want to build what would effectively be a tour bus for 4 with a toy hauler / garage type rig in the back to hold our gear. Although a pusher would be nice, I would think a flat nose front engine might be a better idea from usable floor space concerns...
