their is a spray foam firestop product that is used in building construction to fill the holes in floors and walls to prevent the spread of fire, I don't know what insulation value it has but it is about 4 times more expensive than regular spray foam cans.
If you go with foam insulation make sure that it is formaldehide free, in the past sprayfoam was the answer, only to find out that the long term out gassing of chemicals was hazardous to your health, their are now different sprayfoams that are safe to use in a habitable structure.
