On the exterior, I'm going to remove the bumpers, sand them down and paint them with Rustoleum Hammered paint. I'm also going to remove the escape hatches in the roof, clean them up really nice and paint them with some hammered paint as well. Inside and out. I painted the inside of my bus white. But the bumpers look like they're going to be a tough job to remove. The bolts are huge and they're rusty. I've tried breaking them loose before, and realized that I was going to need some time to get them removed. I want to replace the bolts with some nice, new shiny ones too! Also, I have a tow hook in the back, and two in the front. I want to paint them as well. I don't know if I'll do that stuff now, or wait until spring. I took the bus back to the storage lot for a while. I figured that I'd give my neighbors a break from looking at it! I know that deep down though, they are insanely jealous that they don't have a big black school bus with flames on it.

The picture is pretty accurate on how it looks. I'm very pleased with how it came out.

I wore out a brand new orbital sander and countless sheets of sandpaper on this thing! HA! My hand is still jacked up from all the vibrating. That sounds bad doesn't it?
